PENANG : On 7th November 2019, Biodiversity team from Kampus Sejahtera society had organized an interesting forum entittled “Climate Change and Us”. the event was held at Dewan Kuliah A (DK A), School of Social Sciences.It started with recital prayer for the smoothness of the event.

The forum continued with a welcoming speech from the project director of Climate Change and Us, Muhammad Faiz Bin Zulkepli.
Climate Change and Us invited Prof Dr. Mahamad Hakimi bin Ismail from School of Technology Industries to share more further information about climate change. The moderators in charge for the forum were Mohd Danial Haiqal bin Mohd Zulfikar, second year student from School of Biology and Malia anak Kilat, first year student from School of Education.
To get to the bottom of the topic, the speaker, Prof Dr. Mahamad Hakimi had explained more further on the climate change issues. Before he went much deeper about the topic, he started the forum by giving definition of climate change for the audience to understand about basic information of the topic.He also emphasized on two important things which were the implications and practical steps to solve th problems.
The audience really enjoyed the forum and gave full attention to the topic. They claimed that after the talk they gained more knowledge regarding the issue. This forum gave the attendees more consciousness about climate change and real condition of our earth.
As for final occasion, the speaker was given a token of appreciation from Kampus Sejehtera as an appreciation to honour his presence to the event. The token was handed by the project director of the Climate Change and Us to Prof Dr, Mahamad Hakimi bin Ismail.
Before the audience left to fill in their details for MyCSD purposes outside the hall, they willingly to spend their times to take pictures together with th speaker and moderators after the forum ended.
