PENANG : From the 29th of Mac to the 2nd of April 2021, the Water team from Kampus Sejahtera society had organized an amazing contest entitled “Water Awareness Campaign”. With the slogan” Do the earth a favor, be a water saver” participants were required to create a poster in an attempt to come up with awareness about water usage and change the attitudes to improve water use efficiency.
The good news was, this program was considered one of the successful programs as the number of students registered through google form to become a contestant in this program was beyond the expectation and even hit the maximum amount of participation. The Water team had to open about 40 additional quotas for students who wanted to participate making the total number of participants reached about 100 participants.
This contest was specifically held for all USM students with no fee required for registration. The best part of this program was, once the students submitted their poster through the google drive link provided, they will be automatically got Mycsd and e-certificate without taking into consideration what the poster looked like as long as it complies with all formats of the poster and conditions of participation.
As the result, the top 3 best students that come out with the most creative and contentful poster was officially announced on kampus Sejahtera's official Instagram and Facebook. The winners consist of first, second, and third place. As a token of appreciation for the winners, they will not only be received Mycsd and e-certificate but also precious prizes from the program organizers.
Lastly, let us work hand in hand in keeping the awareness of water consumption because we will never know the worth of water till the well goes dry. Do the earth a favor, be a water saver !
