PENANG: From 14 June 2021 until 20 June 2021, Team Social from Kampus Sejahtera Society organized a meaningful and memorable program. The title of the program is “VACCINE AWARENESS SHORT VIDEO COMPETITION: YOUR HEALTH, YOUR CHOICE”. The programme was delivered via an online platform, and participants were required to create videos based on the event's subject and share them on social media (INSTAGRAM).
The objective of this program was to provide the opportunities to the USM students to enhance their information and knowledge about the awareness and the need for Malaysians to get vaccinated. The terms and conditions of the program are that all participants need to set their main Instagram to public mode, and the submission deadline was before 11:59 p.m. on 19 June 2021. The winners will be evaluated based on their creativity and content of the video. On June 20, 2021, the winners were officially announced on Kampus Sejahtera's official Instagram page. Finally, Nor Islahiah Binti Muhammed took first place in this programme and was awarded RM50.00 as a prize. Second and third place went to Lim Sze Hong and Kirteenaatha Rao, respectively. According to their ranking, they got RM30 and RM20 in incentives.
The programme was considered good because it benefitted students and the general public, despite the fact that it did not reach the target participants. Whenever the participants created a video to share with the public as part of this programme, they received a lot of knowledge regarding vaccine awareness. Finally, this programme is indeed engaging and beneficial to all of the participants.
