PENANG : On 8th of January 2022, Kampus Sejahtera organised their first event from Team Water. This event was made with a few main objectives regarding water issues that is happening around us. The main motives include creating a community that uses water accordingly and raising awareness among USM students to maintain the good quality of water for future generations.The guest speaker on the day was Ts.Dr.Md.Sohrab Hossain, professor from School of Industrial Technology USM.
The event began with a welcoming speech by the project director,Ms.Soniya Karunukaran and followed by doa recitation.After that,the guest speaker was delivering his talk on the related topic and the entire event was conducted in English.Participants gained a lot of knowledge on the topic too.The total participants were 172 from both Facebook Live and Cisco Webex Room.This session lasted for about 1 hour 30 minutes and followed by a QnA session by the participants.
The event ended with a post-mortem meeting by all the comittee members.It was a wonderful and meaningful journey for all the comittee members that joined hands together for this sucessful event.
