PENANG : From 9th to 16th of May 2022, Team Water from Kampus Sejahtera organized an amazing contest entitled “Flood Preparation Poster Competition”. Participants were required to create a poster to come up with awareness of flood preparedness and response as well as bring out the creative expression of them.
The contest was available to online submissions, which participants were required to submit their poster through google drive provided before 11:59 p.m. on 13th of May 2022. On 14th of May 2022, all the designs were posted on the official Instagram of Kampus Sejahtera. Participants were allowed to share and promote their designs from 14th May to 15th May 2022. The winners were determined by the judge (70%) and the likes obtained via the official Instagram of Kampus Sejahtera (30%). On May 16, 2022, the winners were officially announced on Kampus Sejahtera’s official Instagram page. As a token of appreciation for the winners, they were awarded precious prizes.

The event benefitted students and public as it provided information on the importance and ways of flood preparation. Flooding can occur anywhere in the world at any time. Therefore, let us enhance our knowledge on how to prepare for a flood.
